How-to Guide

1. Copy cells

Entry point: Press and hold a cell → Floating menu → Copy

  1. Press and hold the cell that contains the content you want to copy.
  2. If needed, drag the selection handles to expand the range.
  3. Tap Copy in the floating menu.

Success Criteria

  • The intended cell or range is selected.
  • The content is ready to be pasted.

Tips While Using

  • Check the selected range before copying.
  • For a large range, make sure the destination area has enough space.

2. Paste cells

Entry point: Press and hold the destination cell → Floating menu → Paste

  1. Complete a copy or cut action first.
  2. Press and hold the destination cell.
  3. Tap Paste in the floating menu.

Success Criteria

  • The content appears in the destination cell or range.
  • The current paste behavior is applied to the target area.

Tips While Using

  • Pasting may overwrite existing data in the destination area.
  • After pasting across worksheets, check whether the formatting still fits the layout.

3. Cut cells

Entry point: Press and hold a cell → Floating menu → Cut

  1. Press and hold the cell you want to move.
  2. Tap Cut in the floating menu.
  3. Press and hold the destination cell.
  4. Tap Paste to complete the move.

Success Criteria

  • The content is moved to the destination.
  • The original location no longer keeps the moved content.

Tips While Using

  • Cut is for moving content, not duplicating it.
  • If the destination already contains data, the paste action may overwrite it.

4. Paste values only

Entry point: Copy a cell → Press and hold the destination cell → Paste options

  1. Copy a cell that contains content or a formula.
  2. Press and hold the destination cell to open the floating menu.
  3. If paste options are available, select Paste values only.
  4. Check whether the destination keeps only the result value without the original formatting.

Success Criteria

  • The destination cell shows the result value.
  • The original formula or formatting is not fully carried over.
