1. Clear a single cell or selected range

Entry path: Long-press a cell → Clear Content

  1. Select the cell or range that you want to clear in the spreadsheet.
  2. Long-press the selected cell to open the action menu.
  3. Tap Clear Content in the pop-up menu.
  4. Confirm that the data is removed and that borders, fill, and other formatting remain in place.

Success Criteria

  • Visual result: text, numbers, or formulas in the selected area are removed.
  • Next action available: you can enter new data in the same cells.
  • No side effect: the original formatting, borders, and fill remain unchanged.

2. Clear an entire row or column

Entry path: Tap a row header or column header → Clear Content

  1. Tap the row header on the left or the column header at the top to select the full row or column.
  2. Wait for the floating menu to appear.
  3. Tap Clear Content.
  4. Check that the selected row or column no longer contains data.

Success Criteria

  • Visual result: the selected row or column is cleared.
