1. Create an email field

Entry point: the + button on the right side of the header → Field Type list → Email

  1. Open a smart spreadsheet data table.
  2. Click the + button on the right side of the header.
  3. Select Email from the field type list.
  4. Enter a field name.
  5. Click OK to finish creating the field.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a new email field column appears in the data table.
  • What you can do next: you can enter email addresses in cells under that column.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you choose the wrong field type, create the field again or adjust the field settings.

2. Enter an email address

Entry point: target cell → type an email address

  1. Click the target cell in the email field.
  2. Enter an email address, such as example@wps.cn.
  3. Wait while WPS checks the email format automatically.
  4. If a format warning appears, revise the address and confirm again.
  5. Press Return to finish the entry.

Success Criteria
