How-to Index

How-to Guide

1. Add a Creation Time field

Entry: Tap the table header → Edit → Field Type → Creation Time

  1. Open the table where you want to add a new field.
  2. Tap the table header for the target column area.
  3. In the floating toolbar, tap Edit.
  4. In the field editing window, tap Field Type.
  5. Select Creation Time.
  6. Set the field name and confirm the change.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a new Creation Time column appears in the table.
  • Next action available: you can add records and view the automatically written time values in this field.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not enter the field editing window first, you cannot switch the field type.
  • Environment note: this action requires an editable table.

2. Check the auto-filled result

Entry: Create a new record in a table that already contains the Creation Time field

  1. Open a table that already includes the Creation Time field.
  2. Add a new record.
  3. Fill in any other required information for that record.
  4. Return to the Creation Time cell for the new row.
  5. Confirm that the system has filled in the current time in yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm format.
  6. Try to edit the field manually and confirm that the value cannot be changed directly.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the Creation Time cell for the new record shows a time value.
  • Next action available: you can continue adding more records and each one receives its own timestamp.
  • No side effect: existing Creation Time values are not rewritten when other records are added.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: the field does not generate a value before a new record is actually created.
  • Environment note: the timestamp follows the current system time on the device.

3. Filter and sort by Creation Time

Entry: Open the table filter or sort panel

  1. Open a table that already contains the Creation Time field.
  2. Open the filter or sort panel for the table.
  3. Select Creation Time as the filter or sort basis.
  4. Set ascending order, descending order, or a time-range condition as needed.
  5. Apply the setting and review the record order or filtered results.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: records are displayed in the selected time order, or only records that match the time condition remain visible.
  • Next action available: you can adjust the condition again or restore the default view.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if the Creation Time field has not been added first, you cannot filter or sort by it.
  • Environment note: the result depends on the existing Creation Time values in the records.
