1. Add a Creation Time Field
Entry: + button on the right side of the table header → Field Type drop-down list → Creation Time
- Open the Smart Table data table that you want to edit.
- Click the + button on the right side of the table header.
- In the field type list, select Creation Time.
- Enter a field name.
- Click OK to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A new Creation Time Field column appears in the data table.
- What you can do next: New records automatically show their creation time in this field.
Tips While Using
- The creation time is recorded by the system and cannot be edited manually.
- You need permission to manage fields in the current data table.
2. Change the time display format
Entry: Right-click the field title → Field Settings → Date Format
- Right-click the Creation Time Field title.
- Select Field Settings.
- Find the Date Format option in the settings panel.
- Choose the format you want, such as
yyyy/mm/dd HH:mm,yyyy-mm-dd HH:mm, oryyyy年mm月dd日 HH:mm. - Select whether to show time.
- Save the setting and return to the table to review the result.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The time display style in the current field updates consistently.
- What you can do next: New records follow the current display format.
Tips While Using
- This changes only how the timestamp is displayed, not the actual creation time.
- Existing records also follow the updated display format.
