1. Create a Column Chart

Entry point: Dashboard page → "+ Add Component" → Chart → "Column Chart"

  1. Open the dashboard page.
  2. Click the "+ Add Component" button in the upper-left corner.
  3. In the component panel, find "Column Chart" under the "Chart" category.
  4. Click "Column Chart" to generate a default chart component automatically.
  5. Click the component to enter edit mode and continue configuring the data.

2. Edit or Export a Chart

Entry point: Click an added chart → the "..." icon in the upper-right corner

  1. Click the added column chart component.
  2. Click the "..." icon in the upper-right corner to open the menu.
  3. Choose the action you need: Configure, Copy, Copy as Image, Export as Image, or Delete.
  4. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the action.

  • UI state: The drop-down menu opens and shows the available actions.
  • Next actions: You can copy, export, or reconfigure the chart.

  • Common mistakes: If the chart is not selected first, the menu may not show the related actions.

3. Set Type and Data

Entry point: Column Chart edit panel → "Type and Data" tab

  1. Open the edit panel for the column chart.
  2. Go to the "Type and Data" tab.
  3. Select a data source.
  4. Set the data range, dimension, type, statistic value, and grouping as needed.
  5. Continue with sort basis, sort order, empty-cell display, and detail field display settings.
  6. Review the result in the preview pane on the left, then click "OK" to apply it.

  5. In "Chart Elements," set text styles, legends, data labels, and related display items.
  6. Preview the result and click "OK" to apply the settings.
