1. Add an area chart component to a dashboard

Entry path: Dashboard interface → "+ Add Component" → Chart → "Area Chart"

  1. Open the dashboard interface.
  2. Click the "+ Add Component" button in the upper-left corner.
  3. Find "Area Chart" under the Chart category in the component panel.
  4. Click "Area Chart" to generate a default chart component automatically.
  5. Click the component to enter edit mode and continue configuring data.

2. Edit or export an area chart

Entry path: Click the added chart → the "..." icon in the upper-right corner

  1. Click the area chart that has already been added to the dashboard.
  2. Click the "..." icon in the upper-right corner of the chart to open the drop-down menu.
  3. Select Configure, Copy, Copy as Picture, Export as Picture, or Delete as needed.
  4. If you choose Configure, continue adjusting the chart in the editing panel. If you choose export, follow the prompts to save the image.

  • Next action available: You can copy, export, or reconfigure the chart.

3. Set type and data

Entry path: Area chart editing panel → "Type and Data" tab

  1. Open the editing panel for the area chart.
  2. In Data Source, select the data table you want to use.
  3. In Data Range, click Data Filter to set filter conditions.
  4. Set the Dimension (X-axis) field.
  5. In Type, choose a style such as standard, stacked, or 100% stacked.
  6. Set the Statistical Value (Y-axis), and choose Count Records or a specified field for calculation.
  7. As needed, set Grouping, Sort By, Sort Order, Display Blank Cells As, and the fields shown in detailed data.
  8. Review the result in the preview pane on the left, then click OK to apply the settings.

  • Next action available: After you click OK, the chart in the dashboard displays the new configuration.

4. Adjust chart style

Entry path: Area chart editing panel → "Chart Style" tab

  1. Open the area chart editing panel and switch to Chart Style.
  2. In Theme Color, choose a preset color scheme.

  4. Expand Series Colors to set colors for different data series.
  5. Expand Chart Elements to adjust text styles, the legend, and display items such as maximum and minimum values.
  6. Review the style result in the preview pane on the left.
  7. Click OK to save the style settings.
