1. Insert a spreadsheet from the ribbon

Entry path: Insert → Spreadsheet

  1. Place the cursor where you want to insert the spreadsheet.
  2. Click the Insert tab at the top of the window.
  3. Select Spreadsheet.
  4. Choose the row and column size to finish insertion.

Success Check

  • What you should see: a new spreadsheet area appears in the document.
  • What you can do next: start entering data in cells or continue adjusting the table.

  • Common mistake: if the cursor is not placed first, the spreadsheet may be inserted in an unexpected location.

2. Insert a spreadsheet with slash commands

Entry path: Paragraph input → / → Spreadsheet

  1. Type / in a paragraph to open the quick insert menu.
  2. Type Spreadsheet or sheet to search.
  3. Select the spreadsheet option to insert it.
  4. You can also use /dzbg, /et, or /sheet directly.

Success Check

  • What you should see: the spreadsheet option appears in the quick menu, and a spreadsheet is inserted after selection.

3. Edit the spreadsheet inside the document

  1. Select a cell, or double-click a cell to enter editing.

  3. After selecting a cell, use the floating toolbar or the right-click menu to adjust formatting and content.
  4. Click outside the spreadsheet area to finish the current edit.

4. Use formulas and data tools

  4. Follow the prompts to save it as a new smart spreadsheet file.
