1. Open the Insert Local File entry

Entry path: Edit button at the lower right → + in the bottom toolbar → Local File

  1. Open a Smart Doc.
  2. Tap the Edit button at the lower right.
  3. Tap the paragraph position where you want to add the file.
  4. Tap the + icon in the bottom toolbar.
  5. Select Local File from the insert options.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: a local file area or upload entry appears on the page.
  • Next action available: you can continue by tapping Upload File.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: if you do not enter editing mode first, the bottom insert toolbar may not appear.

2. Add a local file block and upload a file

Entry path: local file area → Upload File

  1. In the local file area, tap Upload File.
  2. Select the local file you want to insert from your device, or capture an image and upload it.
  3. Wait for the upload to finish.
  4. Return to the document and review the inserted result.

  1. Check how the inserted file is displayed.

  3. Confirm that other files appear as attachments.
  4. Save the Smart Doc or continue sharing it with collaborators.

  • Interface result: images display inline, and other files appear as attachments in the document.
  • Next action available: collaborators can review the related content in the document.
