FAQ

Why can't I find the Immersive Mode entry?

  1. Make sure you opened a smart document.
  2. Click the File tab at the upper left.
  3. Open Document Settings and check whether Immersive Mode is listed.
  4. If you still do not see it, update WPS Office and check again.

Will Immersive Mode affect my ability to edit the document?

  1. No. You can still type, revise, and read the current document.
  2. The mode mainly reduces distractions from collaborator cursors, selections, and new @ prompts.
  3. Regular editing actions remain available.

Does Immersive Mode turn on automatically?

  1. No.
  2. You need to switch it on manually through File → Document Settings → Immersive Mode.
  3. To exit, use the same entry again.

Will collaboration prompts come back after I turn off Immersive Mode?

  1. Yes. The document returns to the normal view.
  2. Collaborator cursors, selections, and message prompts are shown again in their normal state.
  3. If you need another focused session, you can turn Immersive Mode on again.
