Why can’t I see the word count area?

  1. Make sure an editable document is already open.
  2. Check whether the bottom status bar is visible in the window.
  3. If the count still does not appear, reopen the document and check the bottom-left area again.

If I change the counting method, will other collaborators see the same change?

  1. No. The counting method setting applies only to your own view.
  2. You can choose the default method that matches your own habit.
  3. Other collaborators continue to see the count based on their own current setting.

Are images, tables, or comments included in the count?

  1. The count mainly applies to text entered in the document.
  2. The document title is included in the count scope.
  3. Images, tables, cloud documents, contacts, comments, and other non-body content are not included.
