1. Sign out of the current account
Entry: WPS Home page → Profile icon at the top right → Sign Out
- Open WPS Office and go to the Home page.
- Move your pointer to the profile icon at the top right.
- Click Sign Out in the drop-down menu.
- Select Sign out of the current account or Sign out of all accounts.
- Click Sign Out to finish.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The current account is signed out and the interface returns to the signed-out state.
- What you can do next: You can sign in with another account or continue using features that are available without sign-in.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you do not open the profile menu first, you will not see the Sign Out entry.
- Environment note: If the account page loads slowly, check your network connection and try again.
2. Choose how data is handled during sign-out
Entry: WPS Home page → Profile icon at the top right → Sign Out
- Open the profile menu and click Sign Out.
- In the sign-out options, select Sign out of the current account or Sign out of all accounts.
- Review the expanded check box options.
- To remove local records, select Clear data and delete login records.
- To keep data for later use, select Keep data for next use.
- Click Sign Out to apply the setting.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Sign-out is completed and the account is logged out.
- What you can do next: The local data state for the next sign-in matches the option you selected.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Signing out before confirming the selected option may lead to a different local data result than expected.
- Environment note: After local data is cleared, local cloud document cache and file backups are no longer kept on the device.
