1. Set a Password

Entry path: WPS Home → Avatar → Personal Center → Set Password

  1. Click the avatar icon in the upper-right corner of WPS.
  2. Open Personal Center.
  3. Find Set Password in the Security Settings section.
  4. Click the Not Enabled button.
  5. Complete the bound email verification as prompted.
  6. Enter the new password and confirm it again.
  7. Click Confirm to finish setting the password.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: the Security Settings section no longer shows the Not Enabled status.
  • Next action available: the account can use the new password for sign-in verification.

Tips While Using

  • The password needs to be 8 to 16 characters long and should follow the on-screen combination requirements for uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, or symbols.
  • Before setting a password, make sure the bound email address can receive verification messages.

2. Reset a Password

Entry path: Personal Center → Change Password

  1. In Personal Center, find the Security Settings section.
  2. Click the Settings button next to Change Password.
  3. Enter the current password.
  4. Enter the new password and confirm it again.
  5. Click Confirm to finish updating the password.
  6. If you forgot the current password, click Forgot Password.
  7. Follow the prompts to reset the password through email verification.
