How-to Guide

1. Sync through WPS Cloud Documents to another device

Entry point: Save the document to WPS Drive → Sign in to the same account on another device → WPS Cloud Documents

  1. Open the document you want to continue working on in iOS.
  2. Save the document to WPS Drive.
  3. Sign in to the same WPS account on a computer or another device.
  4. Open the WPS client and find the synced document in WPS Cloud Documents.
  5. Open the document and continue editing.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The receiving device shows the file in WPS Cloud Documents.
  • Next actions: The document opens normally and can continue to be edited.
  • No side effects: The original file remains in the cloud space for that account.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the file is not saved to WPS Drive first, it may not appear in WPS Cloud Documents on the other device.
  • Environment limits: A network connection is required, and both devices must be signed in to the same WPS account.

2. Send the current document with Send To

Entry point: Top menu bar → More → Send To

  1. Open the file you want to send.
  2. Tap More on the top menu bar.
  3. Select Send To.
  4. Choose the target device that is signed in to the current account.
  5. Tap Send.
  6. Open the received document in the WPS client on the target device.
  7. If needed, check Transfer Records to confirm the transfer status.

Success Criteria

  • UI state: The target device receives and displays the document.
  • Next actions: The document can be opened and edited on the target device.
  • No side effects: The original file on the sending device is not deleted by the send action.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistakes: If the target device is not signed in to the same account, it may not appear in the device list or may not receive the file.
  • Environment limits: A network connection is required during the transfer.
