Why is the comment button grayed out or unavailable?

  1. Make sure the presentation file is open normally and is in an editable state.
  2. Check that you are in the correct area, such as the Review tab.
  3. If the button is still unavailable, reopen the file and try again.

Why can’t I see the expected result after adding a comment?

  1. Confirm that the comment was added to the current slide or selected object.
  2. Check whether you need to switch to the related slide to view the comment marker.
  3. If you are reviewing presentation effects, open slideshow preview and check again.
  1. Press Ctrl+Z or click Undo on the Quick Access Toolbar.
  2. Check whether the current slide has returned to the previous state.
  3. If needed, go back to the comment entry and add the comment again.

How can I reuse the same review flow after working with comments?

  2. Complete revisions one by one based on the comments and review them again.
