Why can’t I see the comment content immediately after I insert it?
- Check whether a small red triangle appears in the upper-right corner of the target cell.
- Hover over the cell to view the comment content.
- If you want the comment to stay visible, use Show/Hide Comment or Show All Comments.
Can I recover a comment after deleting it?
- After deletion, the comment content is removed from the cell.
- If the file is still open and Undo is available, try undoing the last action first.
- If the file has already been saved and editing continued, insert a new comment and add the note again.
How do I review all comments in a worksheet at once?
- Open the Review tab.
- Open the Show drop-down menu.
- Select Show All Comments to review them together, and click it again to hide them all.
Do comments change the original data in a cell?
