1. Open Version History

Feature entry: Tap the “≡” icon in the upper-right corner → “Backup & Restore” → “Version History”

  1. Open a document that has already been saved to WPS Cloud.
  2. Tap the “≡” icon in the upper-right corner.
  3. Tap “Backup & Restore.”
  4. Select “Version History.”
  5. Review the saved version list for the current document.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The Version History list opens and shows saved records for the current document.
  • What you can do next: You can rename, preview, restore, save as a new file, or delete a selected version.

Tips While Using

  • Environment limit: The file must be saved to WPS Cloud before this feature is available.

2. Rename a Version

Feature entry: Tap the “≡” icon → “Backup & Restore” → “Version History” → “...” next to the target version → “Rename”

  1. Open the Version History list.
  2. Find the version you want to rename.
  3. Tap the “...” icon next to that version.
  4. Tap “Rename.”
  5. Enter a name and tap “OK” to finish.

3. Preview a Version

  4. Tap “Preview.”
  5. Review the content of that saved version.

4. Restore a Version

Feature entry: Tap the “≡” icon → “Backup & Restore” → “Version History” → “...” next to the target version → “Restore to this version”

  4. Tap “Restore to this version.”
  5. Wait for the file to switch back to that version.

5. Save a Version as a New File

Feature entry: Tap the “≡” icon → “Backup & Restore” → “Version History” → “...” next to the target version → “Save As & Open”

  1. Open the Version History list.
  2. Find the version you want to save separately.
  3. Tap the “...” icon next to that version.
  4. Tap “Save As & Open.”
  5. Save that version as a new file and open it.

6. Delete a Version

  4. Tap “Delete Version.”
  5. Complete the deletion.
