1. Add or Remove Underline
Entry path: Tools → Home → Underline button (U icon)
- Select the cell or cell range where you want to apply underline formatting.
- Tap Tools.
- Open the Home tab.
- Tap Underline.
- The selected text is underlined. To remove it, tap Underline again.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The text in the selected cells shows or removes underline formatting.
- What you can do next: You can continue typing, editing, or saving the spreadsheet.
Tips While Using
- The underline color follows the current font color and cannot be set separately here.
- When you continue typing, new text inherits the underline formatting.
- To remove underline, use the same command again.
