  2. Find Row and Column Shortcuts in the menu.

  4. Check the worksheet area and confirm that the quick action button is now visible near rows or columns.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: A quick action button appears near the row header or column header.
  • What you can do next: You can continue selecting rows or columns and drag them to a new position.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you cannot see the status bar, first make sure the application window is displayed normally.

2. Move or Replace Rows and Columns Quickly

Feature entry: the quick button near the row header or column header

  1. Select the row or column that you want to move or adjust.
  2. Wait for the green quick button with an ellipsis to appear.
  3. Drag the selected row or column to the target position.
  4. Watch for the insertion indicator line, then release the mouse to complete the move.
  5. If you want to replace existing content, hold Shift while dragging before you release the mouse.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target row or column moves to the new position, or replaces existing content when Shift is used.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing, save the worksheet, or adjust other rows and columns.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not hold Shift, the action performs an inserted move instead of a replacement.
  • Environment note: You need to turn on Row and Column Shortcuts before the quick button appears.

3. Turn Off Row and Column Shortcuts

Feature entry: lower-right status bar → Display Settings → Row and Column Shortcuts

  1. Click Display Settings in the lower-right status bar again.
  2. Clear the Row and Column Shortcuts option.
  3. Return to the worksheet and confirm that the quick action button is hidden.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The quick action button near the row or column header is no longer visible.
  • What you can do next: The worksheet content stays unchanged and normal editing can continue.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Turning the feature off only hides the quick button. It does not remove rows or columns that were already moved or replaced.
