1. Open Recent Changes from the Collaboration tab

Entry path: Collaboration tab → History → Recent Changes

  1. Open a collaborative spreadsheet and select the cell or range you want to review.
  2. Click the Collaboration tab on the top ribbon.
  3. Click History on the toolbar.
  4. Choose Recent Changes from the drop-down menu.
  5. Select the change type or time range you want to review.

Success check

  • The Recent Changes submenu is visible.
  • You can continue to a specific review option.

Notes

  • This feature is available only in collaboration mode.
  • If the file is not a collaborative spreadsheet, the entry may not be available.

2. Open Recent Changes from the File menu

Entry path: File menu → Recent Changes

  1. Open a collaborative spreadsheet and select the cell or range you want to review.
  2. Click the File menu in the upper-left area.
  3. Find Recent Changes in the menu.
  4. Open it to enter the available review options.
  5. Choose the change type or time range you need.

Success check

  • You can open Recent Changes from the File menu.
  • You can continue to a specific time range or change type.

Notes

  • This path is useful if you prefer the main menu entry.
  • If the current file is not collaborative, online change records may not be available.

3. View recent changes for a selected cell

Entry path: Recent Changes → Cell Recent Changes

  1. Select the target cell in the collaborative spreadsheet.
  2. Open Recent Changes from the Collaboration tab or the File menu.
  3. Choose Cell Recent Changes.
  4. Review the recent edit records for that cell.

Success check

  • The edit history for the selected cell is shown.
  • You can identify the recent change details for that cell.

Notes

  • Select the target cell first so the review scope is accurate.
  • This method is useful for checking critical data points.

4. View recent changes by time range

Entry path: Recent Changes → Today's Changes / Last 3 Days / Last 7 Days

  1. Open the collaborative spreadsheet.
  2. Open Recent Changes from the Collaboration tab or the File menu.
  3. Choose Today's Changes, Last 3 Days, or Last 7 Days.
  4. Review the change records within the selected time range.

Success check

  • The change list for the selected time range is displayed.
  • You can use it for review, tracing, or recap work.

Notes

  • Change records are kept for a limited time, so older records may no longer appear.
  • You can also use Auto Replay to review the operation sequence in the worksheet.
