FAQ

Why can’t I find the Pivot Table entry?

  1. Make sure you opened a spreadsheet file instead of a Writer or Presentation file.
  2. Tap Tools at the bottom, then open the Insert tab and check whether Pivot Table is available.
  3. If the entry still does not appear, update WPS Office to the latest version and try again.

What should the source data look like before I create a pivot table?

  1. Make sure the data is organized by columns and that each column has a clear header.
  2. Try not to use merged cells in the source data range.
  3. Check for blank headers or obvious data errors to avoid affecting the summary result.

Why can’t I directly edit the values in a pivot table result?

  1. A pivot table shows summarized results based on the source data.
  2. Editing cells in the pivot table does not change the original data.
  3. To change the result, update the source data or adjust the fields and generate the result again.
