1. Insert a Pie Chart
Entry path: Insert tab → Chart → Column Chart
- Select the cell range that contains your data, including category labels and values.
- Click the
Inserttab and chooseColumn Chart. - Select the chart subtype you want, such as Pie, Pie of Pie, or Bar of Pie.
- WPS creates the pie chart automatically.
- Drag the chart to adjust its position and resize it as needed.
Success Criteria
- The chart is created from the selected data.
- The chart shows slices for each category.
- The chart can be moved and resized in the worksheet.
Tips While Using
- Make sure the selected range includes both category labels and numeric values.
- Pie charts work better for part-to-whole relationships than for comparing absolute differences across many variables.
- If there are too many categories, the slices may become harder to read.
