1. Move a Worksheet
Entry point: Long-press a worksheet tab → drag to move
- Open the spreadsheet file whose worksheet order you want to adjust.
- Long-press the worksheet tab that you want to move.
- Drag the worksheet within the tab bar to the position you want.
- Release your finger to finish the move.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: the worksheet appears in its new tab position.
- Next action available: you can still open and edit that worksheet.
- No unwanted change: the worksheet content remains in place after the move.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if you do not long-press the worksheet tab, you may only switch sheets instead of entering drag mode.
- Environment note: when many worksheets are open, confirm the target position before releasing the tab.
2. Copy a Worksheet
Entry point: Tap a worksheet tab → Copy
- Open the spreadsheet file that contains the worksheet you want to duplicate.
- Tap the worksheet tab to bring up the floating action area.
- Select Copy.
- Check the worksheet tabs after the current sheet to find the new duplicate.
- Rename or edit the copied worksheet as needed.
Success Criteria
- Visual result: a new worksheet copy appears after the original worksheet.
- Next action available: you can open, rename, edit, or copy the duplicate again.
- No unwanted change: the original worksheet stays in its original position.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if the worksheet tab is not selected first, the copy option may not appear.
- Environment note: the duplicate name adds a number after the original name so multiple copies are easier to identify.
