1. Build a data dashboard
Entry: Insert tab → Dashboard
- Prepare the worksheet data that you want to visualize.
- Click Insert and then Dashboard to open the dashboard editor.
- On the component selection page, choose the chart or content type you need. Available options include column chart, line chart, bar chart, pie chart, combo chart, statistic number, and text.
- Select the data source and chart settings to create the component.
- Drag the component border to resize it, and drag the component area to reposition it in the layout.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The dashboard editor opens and the added components are visible.
- Next action available: You can continue adding components, changing settings, or refining the layout.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the selected data range is incomplete, the chart result may not match your expectation.
- Environment note: It is helpful to organize worksheet fields and data structure before building the dashboard.
2. Use dashboard settings
Entry: Top toolbar in the dashboard editor
- Open an existing dashboard in the editor.
- Click + Add Component to insert another chart or text component.
- Click Title to set or edit the dashboard title.
- Click Theme to switch the overall color style.
- Click Full Screen Display to present the dashboard in full screen.
- Click Export Dashboard to export the current dashboard as an image.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: Toolbar settings take effect, such as an updated title, a changed theme, or full-screen display.
- Next action available: You can continue presenting, saving the result, or sharing the exported image.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If you export before checking the layout, the image may look crowded or unclear.
