Entry: Top View tab → Full Screen

  1. Open the spreadsheet file you want to review.
  2. Click the View tab at the top.
  3. Find the Full Screen button in the toolbar.
  4. Click Full Screen. The toolbar and menu bar are hidden, and the spreadsheet uses more of the screen.
  5. A minimal control area remains available so you can continue viewing or exit later.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The toolbar and menu bar are hidden, and the spreadsheet area becomes larger.
  • What you can do next: You can continue reviewing the spreadsheet and prepare to exit Full Screen when needed.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If the current spreadsheet window is not active first, the switch may not appear as expected.
  • Environment note: For collaborative files, keep the network connection stable so you can view the latest synced content.

2. Turn on Full Screen from the status bar icon

Entry: Full-screen icon in the bottom-right status bar

  1. Open the spreadsheet file and make sure the bottom status bar is visible.
  2. Click the full-screen icon in the bottom-right corner.
  3. The spreadsheet enters Full Screen immediately.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: After clicking the icon, the spreadsheet enters Full Screen and the main content area uses more screen space.
  • What you can do next: You can continue browsing the spreadsheet or exit with the available method.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you overlook the status bar, the bottom-right entry can be easy to miss.
  • Environment note: This method requires the current window to show the status bar normally.

3. Exit Full Screen and restore the interface

Entry: Esc key, or use the Full Screen entry again

  1. While in Full Screen, press Esc.
  2. Or use the same Full Screen switch again.
  3. The interface returns to the previous toolbar and menu bar layout.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The toolbar and menu bar appear again.
  • What you can do next: You can continue editing, reviewing, or performing other spreadsheet tasks.
  • No side effects: Spreadsheet content, collaboration status, and print output remain unchanged.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: Some users may think Full Screen changes the file itself, but it only changes the current display mode.
  • Environment note: If you exit with the keyboard, make sure the current window is active.
