How-to Guide
1. Set Horizontal Alignment
Entry: Home tab → Alignment group
- Select the target cell or range.
- Open the Home tab.
- In the Alignment group, click the horizontal alignment control you need.
- Choose Align Left, Center, or Align Right.

2. Set Vertical Alignment
Entry: Home tab → Alignment group
- Select the target cell range.
- In the Alignment group, click the vertical alignment control.
- Choose Top Align, Middle Align, or Bottom Align as needed.
- If the cell height is large, try middle alignment first to check the visual result.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The text position changes vertically inside the cell.

3. Open More Alignment Settings
Entry: Right-click → Format Cells → Text
- Select the target cell range and right-click it.
- Choose Format Cells from the shortcut menu to open the panel on the right.
- Switch to the Text tab.
- Choose the alignment you need under Horizontal Alignment and Vertical Alignment.
- If needed, adjust text indentation in Indent.
- Review the live result in the spreadsheet and continue editing.
