How-to Guide
1. Apply Import and Export Comments from the ribbon
Entry path: Edit tab → Edit Content → Text Edit → Import/Export
- Open the PDF file you want to edit.
- Click the Edit tab on the top menu bar.
- Click Edit Content to enter content editing mode.
- Click Text Edit on the toolbar to switch to text editing mode.
- Select the text you want to format.
- Click Import/Export on the toolbar to apply the effect.
Success Criteria
- The selected text shows the Import/Export comment effect.
- The Import/Export command is available after text is selected.
Tips While Using
- Enter Text Edit mode before selecting text.
- If no text is selected, the command may be unavailable.
- Text in scanned PDFs may not be directly editable.
2. Apply or remove Import and Export Comments from the floating toolbar
Entry path: Floating toolbar after text selection → Import/Export
- Open the PDF file and enter Text Edit mode.
- Select the text you want to format.
- Click Import/Export on the floating toolbar above the text.
- To remove the applied effect, select the same text again and click the same command.
Success Criteria
- The floating toolbar appears after text selection.
- Clicking the command applies the effect, and clicking it again removes the effect.
Tips While Using
- The floating toolbar appears only after text is selected.
- If the command is dimmed, confirm that the text is editable and currently selected.
