What should I do if the Import and Export Comments command is dimmed?

  1. Make sure the PDF file is open and Edit Content mode is enabled.
  2. Click Text Edit to confirm that you are in text editing mode.
  3. Select the target text again and check whether Import/Export becomes available.
  4. If the command is still unavailable, confirm that the text in the current file can be edited directly.

How do I remove an Import and Export Comments effect that has already been applied?

  1. In text editing mode, select the text that already has the effect.
  2. Click Import/Export on the toolbar or the floating toolbar.
  3. Confirm that the text returns to the state after the effect is removed.

Why can’t I use this feature directly in a scanned PDF?

  1. Content in a scanned PDF is often not a directly editable text object.
  2. Confirm whether the current PDF supports text editing.
  3. If needed, convert the content into editable text before continuing.
