1. Apply the Form Effect from the Ribbon

Entry path: Edit tab → Edit Content → Text Edit → Form

1. Open the PDF file you want to edit.
2. Click the Edit tab on the top menu bar.
3. Click Edit Content to enter content editing mode.
4. Click Text Edit on the toolbar to switch to text editing mode.
5. Select the text you want to format.
6. Click the Form button on the toolbar to apply the form effect.

Success Criteria

• On-screen result: The selected text shows the form effect.
• What you can do next: You can continue selecting other text and repeat the action, or save the file.

Tips While Using

• Enter text editing mode before selecting the target text.
• This topic requires WPS Premium access for PDF editing.
• If the button is unavailable, confirm that text is currently selected.

2. Apply the Form Effect from the Floating Toolbar

Entry path: Floating toolbar after selecting text → Form

1. Open the PDF and enter Text Edit mode.
2. Select the text you want to format.
3. In the floating toolbar that appears above the text, click Form.
4. Check whether the current text now shows the form effect.

Success Criteria

• On-screen result: The selected text shows the form effect.
• What you can do next: You can select other text and repeat the action, or save the file directly.

Tips While Using

• The floating toolbar usually appears after you select text.
