1. Identify the menu bar

Entry point: the menu bar below the title bar

  1. Open WPS PDF and enter any PDF file view.
  2. Look at the row directly below the title bar.
  3. Confirm that the leftmost entry is the File button.
  4. Check the right side for quick buttons such as Save, Undo, and Redo.

Success Check

  • Interface result: you can see the menu bar below the title bar.
  • Next action: you can distinguish the File menu entry from the quick action buttons on the right.

Notes

  • Common issue: if no PDF file is open, some commands may be harder to verify in context.
  • Environment note: the layout may shift slightly with window size, but the menu bar remains in the top area.

2. Use the File menu

Entry point: the File button

  1. Click File on the left side of the menu bar.
  2. Review the expanded menu options.
  3. Choose the command you need, such as New, Open, Save, Save As, Print, or Close.
  4. Continue with the selected command.

Success Check

  • Interface result: the File menu opens and shows multiple file-related commands.
  • Next action: you can select a command and continue to its related flow.

Notes

  • Common issue: if no document is open first, some options may not be ready to use.
  • Environment note: commands such as Print or Save As may open different windows depending on the current file state.

3. Use quick action buttons

Entry point: quick buttons on the menu bar

  1. Open the PDF file you want to work with.
  2. Find buttons such as Save, Undo, and Redo on the menu bar.
  3. Click Save to save the current document quickly.
  4. Click Undo to reverse the previous action.
  5. Click Redo to restore the action you just undid.

Success Check

  • Interface result: each button triggers its related command.
  • Next action: after saving, you can continue working; after Undo, you can use Redo or continue with other actions.

Notes

  • Common issue: if there is nothing to undo, the Undo command may not be available.
