1. Convert Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese

Feature entry: Review tab → Simplified to Traditional

1. Select the text you want to convert.
2. Click the Review tab at the top of the window.
3. Click Simplified to Traditional.
4. The selected text is converted to Traditional Chinese.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The selected Simplified Chinese text changes to Traditional Chinese.
• Next action available: You can continue editing, saving, or using other review tools.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If no text is selected first, partial conversion may not work as expected.
• Environment note: Some proper nouns or special characters may remain unchanged.

2. Convert Traditional Chinese to Simplified Chinese

Feature entry: Review tab → Traditional to Simplified

1. Select the text you want to convert.
2. Click the Review tab at the top of the window.
3. Click Traditional to Simplified.
4. The selected text is converted to Simplified Chinese.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: The selected Traditional Chinese text changes to Simplified Chinese.
• Next action available: You can continue editing, saving, or running another conversion.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If the selection range is not checked carefully, only part of the content may be converted.
• Environment note: Text with unsupported font glyphs or radicals may need manual correction before conversion.

3. Open Simplified-Traditional Conversion Settings

Feature entry: Review tab → Expand arrow at the lower-right corner of Traditional to Simplified

1. Select the text you want to convert.
2. Click the Review tab at the top of the window.
3. Click the expand arrow at the lower-right corner of Traditional to Simplified.
4. Set the conversion direction.
5. Choose the conversion unit by character or by word.

Success Criteria

• Interface result: You can see settings for conversion direction and conversion unit.
• Next action available: After the settings are adjusted, you can run conversion with the selected method.

Tips While Using

• Common mistake: If character-based and word-based conversion are not distinguished, the result may differ from your expectation.
• Environment note: Review the converted result in context after the conversion is complete.
