1. Basic Page Number Insertion

Entry path: Insert → Page Number

  1. Open the WPS Writer document where you want to add page numbers.
  2. Click the Insert tab on the top menu bar.
  3. Click Page Number.
  4. Select a preset page number style to generate continuous numbering automatically.
  5. Double-click the document body area to exit header and footer editing.
