1. Use Undo
Entry point: Home tab → Undo button
- Open the WPS document that you want to edit.
- On the Home tab, find the Undo button.
- Click Undo to reverse the previous action.
- If needed, click Undo again to continue moving back through recent steps.
- You can also press Ctrl+Z to undo.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The most recent edit is reversed.
- Next actions: You can continue editing the document or undo again.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you make a new edit after undoing, the redo chain may change.
- Environment limits: In collaboration mode, it is recommended to keep document sync working normally.
2. Use Redo
Entry point: Home tab → Redo button
- After using Undo, open the Home tab.
- Find the Redo button.
- Click Redo to restore the action that was just undone.
- If needed, click Redo again to restore more undone steps.
- You can also press Ctrl+Y to redo.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The content or action that was undone appears again.
- Next actions: You can continue editing the document or redo again.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you have not used Undo first, Redo may be unavailable.
- Environment limits: Redo only works within the current chain of undone recent actions.
