How-to Guide
1. Use Undo
Entry: Home tab → Undo button
- Open the collaboration-mode text document that you want to edit.
- Click the Undo button on the Home tab.
- WPS reverses your most recent action.
- If needed, click Undo repeatedly to step back through multiple actions.
- You can also press Command + Z.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the most recent editing action is reversed.
- Next action available: you can continue editing the document or keep undoing more steps.
- No side effect: the document stays open and remains available for collaborative editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: clicking too quickly may undo more steps than expected.
- Environment note: it is recommended to use this in a normal editable state of the collaboration document.
2. Use Redo
Entry: Home tab → Redo button
- After you have used Undo, click the Redo button on the Home tab.
- WPS restores the action that was just undone.
- If needed, click Redo repeatedly to restore more undone actions.
- You can also press Command + Y.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the content or action that was undone appears again.
- Next action available: you can continue editing the document or keep redoing more steps.
- No side effect: the current document remains available for continued editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: if no Undo action was performed first, there may be nothing available to redo.
