1. Undo a Recent Edit

Entry: Top toolbar → Undo button (left-curved arrow)

  1. Open the collaborative writing document you want to edit.
  2. Enter editing mode.
  3. In the top toolbar, find the Undo button with a left-curved arrow.
  4. Tap it once to undo the most recent edit. To undo more changes, tap it repeatedly.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The most recent edit is reversed.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing or undo another step.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If you are not in editing mode, the Undo button may not be visible.
  • Environment note: Undo history is kept only for the current editing session.

2. Redo an Undone Edit

Entry: Top toolbar → Redo button (right-curved arrow)

  1. Perform at least one undo action in the document.
  2. Keep the document in editing mode.
  3. In the top toolbar, find the Redo button with a right-curved arrow.
  4. Tap it once to restore the most recently undone action. To redo more actions, tap it repeatedly.

Success Criteria

  • On-screen result: The content you just undid appears again.
  • Next action available: You can continue editing or redo another step.

Tips While Using

  • Common issue: If no undo action was performed first, Redo may not produce the expected result.
  • Environment note: After the document is closed, the undo and redo history for the current session is cleared.
