1. View the table of contents and jump to a section
Entry path: Tools → View → Table of Contents
- Open the document you want to read.
- Tap Tools.
- Select the View tab.
- Tap Table of Contents.
- Review the heading structure shown in the panel.
- Tap any heading to jump to that section in the document.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A list of document headings appears in the current window.
- Next action available: You can tap a heading and move to the related section.
- No side effect: The original document content is not changed.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Paragraphs that use only normal body text will not appear in the table of contents.
