1. View the table of contents and jump to a section
Feature entry: Tools > View > Table of Contents
- Open the document you want to review.
- Tap Tools.
- Select the View tab.
- Tap Table of Contents.
- Review the heading list and tap a heading to jump to that section.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: A heading-based outline is visible in the document window.
- Next action available: You can tap an item in the outline to jump to the related section.
- No side effect: Viewing the table of contents does not change the document content.
Tips While Using
- Only paragraphs that use heading styles appear in the table of contents.
- Paragraphs that use only the body text style are not included.
