1. Apply Superscript

Entry: Home tab → Superscript button

  1. Select the text that you want to format as superscript.
  2. Click the Home tab.
  3. Click the Superscript button.
  4. The selected text changes to superscript formatting.

  • Interface result: The selected text appears above the normal text baseline.
  • What you can do next: You can keep typing, save the document, or continue applying other text formatting.

2. Apply Superscript from Text Properties

Entry: Home tab → Text Properties drop-down menu → Text Properties → Text tab → Superscript button

  1. Select the text that you want to format as superscript.
  2. Click the Home tab.
  3. Open the Text Properties drop-down menu and select Text Properties.
  4. In the right task pane, open the Text tab.
  5. Click the Superscript button.
  6. The selected text changes to superscript formatting.
