When using Send to Computer, the most common questions are about account sign-in, network status, and receiving the file; this FAQ includes 3 common questions and a short glossary.
FAQ
Why did the computer not receive the document?
- Confirm that the phone and computer are signed in with the same WPS account.
- Check whether the network connection is working on both devices.
- If you used Send to, open Transfer Records on the phone and review the task status.
- If you used Cloud Documents sync, make sure the file was saved to a cloud location and then look for it in Cloud Documents on the computer.
Why can't I find the receiving location after sending the document to a computer?
- Open the WPS Office desktop client on the computer and keep the account signed in.
- Check the document list or the related receiving location under that account.
- Review recent files, Cloud Documents, or transfer-related records.
- If the document still does not appear, send it again and confirm the target device once more.
What is the difference between syncing through Cloud Documents and using Send to?
- Cloud Documents sync is better when you want to save the file to the cloud first and then open it from Cloud Documents on the computer.
- Send to is better when the document is already open and you want to send the current file directly to another signed-in device.
- Both methods require the same account and an internet connection.
- If you want the file to stay in your account storage for later access, Cloud Documents is usually easier to manage.
