These FAQs cover 3 common questions about format display, receiving methods, and choosing the right sending path for Send by File on Android.
FAQ
What should I do if the recipient sees garbled text after I send the file?
- Confirm that the recipient is using an app that supports the file format, such as
.docx. - Use common fonts in the document when possible to reduce display differences.
- If the recipient only needs to read the content, send a PDF or image version instead.
Why can’t I find the Send by File option?
- Make sure the current file is a document that can be shared.
- Tap Share in the top toolbar, or tap Share from the home document list.
- If the option still does not appear, update WPS Office to the latest version and try again.
When should I use link sharing instead of Send by File?
- Use link sharing when multiple people need to view or collaborate online.
- Use Send by File when you want to send the original document file for further editing.
- Use image sharing when you only need to present the content visually.
