Tips While Using

2. Use a Different Orientation for Specific Pages

Feature entry: Insert tab → Page Break → Next Page Section Break

  1. Place the cursor before the page where you want to change the orientation.
  2. Insert a Next Page Section Break.
  3. Place the cursor in the new section.
  4. Open Paper Orientation on the Page tab.
  5. Select Portrait or Landscape.
  6. The new orientation applies only to the current section.

Success Criteria

  • Interface result: The target section displays the new page orientation.
  • What you can do next: Other sections can keep their original orientation and remain editable.
  • No side effect: Sections you did not target do not change at the same time.

Tips While Using

  • Common mistake: If you do not insert a section break first, the orientation change may apply to the whole document.
  • Environment note: For mixed page layouts, check section break positions before changing orientation.
