Last updated:July 12, 2026

These FAQs focus on 3 common issue types: finding the setting, understanding presets, and checking display differences between mobile and desktop; this section includes 3 common questions and a 3-term glossary.

FAQ

Why can’t I find single or 1.5 line spacing on my phone?

  1. Make sure the file is an editable text document rather than a read-only preview.
  2. Select the target paragraph and go to Tools → Home → Line Spacing.
  3. Check the preset list in the panel, since some options may appear as values or grouped choices.
  4. If the option still does not appear, open the additional spacing methods and choose the needed value there.

Why did only part of the text change after I adjusted line spacing?

  1. Check whether only part of the paragraph was selected or whether only the cursor was placed in the text.
  2. Re-select the full target paragraph.
  3. Open Line Spacing again and apply the value you need.
  4. Return to the document and confirm that all target content has updated consistently.

Why does the layout look slightly different on mobile and desktop after I change line spacing?

  1. Check whether both devices use the same font, paragraph style, and page settings.
  2. Finish the basic line spacing adjustment on mobile, save the file, and review it again on desktop.
  3. If the document has stricter layout requirements, continue with more detailed adjustments on desktop.
  4. Use the final review result before sharing or printing as your reference.
