1. Find Content
Entry path: Tools → View tab → Find and Replace → Find
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Open the View tab area.
- Tap Find and Replace.
- Tap Find.
- Enter the text you want to search for.
- Tap ← to view the previous match.
- Tap → to view the next match.
- Tap AI Find All to view all matching content.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The search box appears and you can move between matched results.
- Next action available: You can continue reviewing results or switch to the replace workflow.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If no document is open, you cannot start an in-document search workflow.
- Environment note: Search results depend on the actual text in the current document.
2. Replace Content
Entry path: Tools → View tab → Find and Replace → Replace
- Tap Tools at the bottom.
- Open the View tab area.
- Tap Find and Replace.
- Tap Replace.
- Enter the text to search for in the Find Content box.
- Enter the new text in the Replace Content box.
- Tap Replace to update the current matched text.
- Tap ← or → to move to the previous or next match.
- Tap Replace All to update all matched results at once.
Success Criteria
- On-screen result: The current matched text or all matched text is updated with the new content.
- Next action available: You can continue searching for other keywords or return to document editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: Before entering replacement text, confirm that the search term is correct.
- Environment note: Before using Replace All, check whether the document contains matching text that should not be changed.
