How-to Guide
1. Turn Eye Care Mode on or off from the View tab
Entry point: View → Eye Care Mode
- Open the document you want to read or edit.
- Click the View tab at the top of the window.
- Click Eye Care Mode.
- Check whether the document background changes to a softer light green.
- To return to the original display, click Eye Care Mode again.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the document background changes to light green, or returns to the original display after you click again.
- You can continue working: you can keep reading, typing, editing, and saving the document.
Tips While Using
- Eye Care Mode only affects the current on-screen display.
- Click the same button again to turn the mode off.
2. Turn Eye Care Mode on or off from the status bar
Entry point: Status bar → Eye Care Mode icon
- Open a document and look at the status bar at the bottom of the window.
- Find the Eye Care Mode icon.
- Click the icon to turn on Eye Care Mode.
- Click it again when you want to turn the mode off.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: the document background changes after you click, and returns after you turn the mode off.
- You can continue working: you can keep reading or editing without leaving the current page.
Tips While Using
- If the current window is narrow, first confirm that the status bar icon is fully visible.
- The status bar entry is useful when you want to switch display effects quickly while reading.
