1. Run Document Optimization
Entry path: More in the top menu bar → All Services / More Output & Conversion → Document Optimization
- Open the document that you want to optimize.
- Tap More in the top menu bar, then go to All Services or the related document tools area.
- Tap Document Optimization.
- Wait while the app analyzes the document and shows the reducible space.
- Choose whether to back up the original document.
- Tap Start Optimization to begin the process.
- Review the before-and-after file size comparison when the process is complete.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The page shows that document optimization is complete and displays the size comparison.
- Next action available: You can continue saving, sharing, or returning to the document.
- No unwanted effect: If you selected backup, the original version is still retained.
Tips While Using
- Common mistake: If the target document is not open first, you cannot start the related workflow directly.
- Permissions or membership: This feature requires WPS Premium.
- Environment note: If the document contains very few images, the size reduction may be limited.
