This FAQ covers 3 common question groups about Collaboration Page Numbers on Android, including first-page display, setting changes, and removal results.
FAQ
Why do I still see a page number on the first page?
- The Android workflow described here does not include a Different First Page setting.
- If your document must hide the first-page number, use desktop WPS for additional layout adjustment.
- You can also avoid automatic numbering temporarily and add manual numbering only where needed.
Why don’t I see any change after inserting page numbers?
- Confirm that the document is already in editing mode.
- Check whether you completed the confirmation step in the page number settings window.
- If the document has very few pages or the visible area is limited, scroll to the header or footer area to review the result.
What happens after I remove page numbers?
- Removing page numbers clears the current automatic page numbering in the document.
- The main document content is not deleted.
- If needed, go back to Tools → Insert → Page Number and insert them again.
