1. Clear formatting from selected text
Entry path: Home tab → Clear Formatting button
- Open the text document that you want to edit.
- Select the text whose formatting you want to remove.
- Click Clear Formatting on the Home tab.
- Check whether the selected text has returned to the default Normal style.
Success Criteria
- Interface result: The selected text no longer shows direct formatting such as font changes, color, bold, or italic styling.
- What you can do next: You can immediately apply a new font, size, color, or style to the same text.
