1. Adjust character spacing in Text Properties

Entry path: Home → Text Properties drop-down menu → Text Properties → Text → Character Spacing

  1. Select the text whose character spacing you want to adjust.
  2. Click the Text Properties drop-down menu on the Home tab.
  3. Select Text Properties, then click the Text tab in the task pane on the right.
  4. In Character Spacing, choose Condensed, Normal, or Expanded.
  5. Adjust the spacing value and spacing scale as needed.
