1. Use AI Translate to translate a document
Entry point: Tools → Review → AI Translate
- Select the text you want to translate, or tap the paragraph you want to process.
- Tap the Tools option at the bottom.
- Select the Review tab.
- Tap the AI Translate button.
- Set the source language and target language.
- Choose a translation service.
- Choose a translation mode, such as Smooth Reading, Format Restore, or Translate Images.
- Tap Translate to xxx, where xxx is the target language, and wait while the document is translated step by step.
- Preview and download the translated result after processing is complete.
Success Criteria
- UI state: The translation panel shows the selected languages and the translated result.
- Next actions: You can continue to preview and download the translated content.
- No side effects: The original document remains available for viewing and editing.
Tips While Using
- Common mistakes: If you do not select text first or do not place the cursor on the target paragraph, the translation scope may not match what you expect.
- Membership: AI Translate is a membership feature, so confirm your account status before use.
- Environment limits: An internet connection is required, and important translated content should be reviewed again.
