1. Book a meeting room in a new event
Entry path: WPS Collaboration → Calendar → New Event → Select Meeting Room
- Open WPS Collaboration and click Calendar in the left navigation area.
- Click New Event to open the event editor.
- In the location or meeting room area, click Select Meeting Room.
- Review the room status for the selected time range.
- Select an available meeting room.
- If a conflict appears, adjust the time or choose another room.
- Complete the event details, such as subject, participants, and reminders.
- Click Save to finish the booking.
- Participants receive an invitation that includes the meeting room information.

- Interface result: The selected meeting room name appears in the event details.

2. Check room bookings in the meeting room panel
Entry path: WPS Collaboration → Calendar → Meeting Room
- Open WPS Collaboration and go to Calendar.
- Click Meeting Room in the upper-right area to open the room booking panel.
- Use the date and time filters at the top to change the viewing range.
- Review the room list on the left.
- Check the timeline in the center to understand room occupancy during the selected period.
- Click an event to open its details.

3. Start a booking from an empty time slot
Entry path: WPS Collaboration → Calendar → Meeting Room → Double-click an empty area
- Open the Meeting Room panel.

- Double-click an empty time area for the room you want.
- In the booking window, add the meeting subject, participants, and reminders.
- Confirm the room and time, then click Save.

Entry path: WPS Collaboration → Calendar → Click an existing event

- Click the event to open its details.
- Edit the meeting time if needed, and let the system check room availability again.
- If needed, choose another available room.
- If the meeting is canceled, cancel the booking to release the room resource.
- Click Save to update the booking.
